Cleansing – what’s your routine?

Filed under: Articles, Natural and Organic Beauty — beauty @ 9:33 am

cleansing routineWhile getting ready to go to bed after a hard day’s work, does your routine include cleansing your face, or are you happy to wake up in the morning with panda eyes and lipstick on your pillow??

Our skin takes a battering every day; in addition to dealing with the sun, wind and rain, it is also affected by central heating and air conditioning. Over time these elements play a large part in drying out our skin and making it look older, so a daily cleansing routine is a must as this will keep our skin looking young and blemish-free for longer.
Taking care of your skin may sound like a lot of hard work but a good cleansing routine doesn’t need to take any longer than a few minutes. Traditionally we have been taught to cleanse, tone and moisturise; while some women discard toning because they feel it makes no difference, the general consensus is that two key elements of any skin care routine are cleansing and moisturising.

Whatever you do, use products that work in harmony with the PH balance of your skin. Try AD skin synergy’s Essential Cleansing Balm which not only cleanses your skin, but thoroughly glides away stubborn make up too!

Radiant Skin moisturiser in the day time which, in addition to nourishing the skin, helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines. After sun care – how to restore your bloom

Filed under: Articles, Natural and Organic Beauty — beauty @ 7:40 am

look after your skin at the end of the summerWhile the heat and a little extra colour makes us feel great, staying out in the sun too long can wreak havoc on our skin. Excessive exposure to the sun is one of the major causes of premature skin ageing.

If you stayed out a little too long in the heat this summer, don’t fret. There are some very practical things you can do to help repair damage the sun may have caused. Keeping the skin well hydrated in the weeks following sun exposure is the best way to restore it back to health and keep it looking fresh and radiant.

Your moisturiser should contain vitamin E and rosehip oil of some kind as minimum; vitamin E is great for helping repair the skin after sun exposure including minor sun burn, and rose hip oil has excellent skin regeneration properties and is used to fight wrinkles, restore firmness and as a remedy for sun damaged skin.

AD skin synergy’s award-winning Nourishing Night Treatment facial oil is great as an after sun, as it keeps the skin nourished for 24 hours and the skin’s hydration increases by over 60% just 30 minutes after it is applied!

While this takes care of nourishing the skin from the outside, you can assist in the healing process from within. Drink lots of water on a daily basis to help retain that dewy, fresh faced look.

AD skin synergy was created as a serious natural and organic skincare brand to help women, and men, whatever their skin type as the ageing process takes place; to balance the skin, give younger looking skin, whatever your age, and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

No Parabens

It’s what’s in and what’s not in their products that’s important – parabens, petrochemicals, artificial perfumes are not in any of our products, and only the most effective ingredients are in – working with the skin to make a difference.

Ingredients

AD skin synergy skincare includes an abundance of potent ingredients such as organic rose essential oil, grown at high altitude where the buds are gathered by hand just before sunrise, when the life force within the plant is at its most potent. Another exceptional ingredient is organic rosehip seed oil; hand-picked from the wild bushes at the foothills of the Chilean Andes, and cold pressed to preserve its optimum benefits.
